Rev. Marcus A Lockett
Rev. Marcus A. Lockett was born in Texarkana, Texas to the late organizer, Pastor E.L. Lockett and Mrs. Willie Lockett; Gladewater, Texas. Rev. Marcus A. Lockett graduated from Pine Tree High School of Longview, Texas and Liberty University with BS degree in CIS. He plans to attend the Liberty University Baptist Theological Seminary to help further his knowledge; to help the church stand firm in the faith; and to help the church defend their faith in Christ through an ever-changing time.
Rev. Lockett resides in Tyler, Texas with his wife, Lois Lockett, and family. He is the proud father of four children (Kaleb, Uriyah, Deuteronomy, and Cori.) Pastor Lockett has served as the humble Pastor of New St. Matthew Baptist Church of Whitehouse, Texas for the last 13 years. He is also employed as a Sr. Network Voice Engineer. He serves in the organized work on the local and state level as the Texas Educational Baptist State Convention Youth Director; Board Member of the Faithful Care Learning Center; Baptist Minister’s Conference of Tyler and Vicinity Treasurer; Board Member of BetterMe Foundation; iServe Community Care Outreach and other local organizations.
Pastor Marcus A. Lockett continues to share God’s vision for the New St. Matthew Baptist Church family through his leadership, preaching and teaching abilities to make God’s vision a reality by cultivating true Christian disciples for Christ.
